Looking both as an insider and outsider, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie represents itself as the one who follows its’ own ‘individual vision of what art education should be’ in respect to often repeated words: critical eye, open-minded, experimental, cooperative, adventurous, receptive attitude, context, conceptual, social, individual.

This work drew together words in common that different departments of the Academie used to describe their concept of work as their representational strategy.
